Straight Through network

Hey Guys,

Here is a question:

My ISP uses mac assigned IP's and I have 2 dynamic IP addresses availble. Right now, my setup is Modem-4Port Switch - Router

                                                                                                                                                                                |- ESXi 4

The issue is this: The physical nic on the esxi box has a mac address and the vnic has another address, therefore thats how the ISP sees it, so my router gets kicked off when the ESXi box is powered on since now there are 3 MAC;s.

Is there a way to have the same MAC address on both the pNic and the vNic? Or atleast have a transparent connection from the pNic to the vNic eliminating the vSwitch so that the ISP only sees one from the ESXi box and the Router doesnt get kicked off?

If it matters, the VM the nic will serve is Server 2008 Enterprise.
