Expand a VMFS datastore on IBM DS3512 array

I was pretty content about expanding a VMFS datastore provisioned from an IBM DS3512 iSCSI storage array until I read the manual:

It states the following hosts are supported for expansion (section 9.5.7):

It doesn't list ESX specifically but I've quite happily expanded VMFS LUNs on other storage arrays without any issues. Can I expand a VMFS LUN on a DS3512 iSCSI array?
