Okay, as nobody reacted, we also in vmware can adopt this dell r720 server + ssd solution for esxi.
So this means with esxi 5.1 we don't need anymore a storage.
And if vsphere 6.0 comes out we would have virtual storage room over several x86 boxes with ssds.
