I hope that i clearly undersood your question, we have 2 NIC's, one for storage and one for vmotion, there are 2 Vlans on each NIC, If one NIC fails, the other one should perform both NFS and vMotion, the vMotion Vlan is without IP address and the sotrage network does have IP address.

By the way, Notify switch is already checked to "yes".
