I am trying to get a list of VMs running on a specific ESX host but also who are located into a specific folder.
I believe this should be something like this below, but for the moment without success :
get-vmhost $esx_hostname | get-vm -Location (get-folder $folder_name)
giving error message :Get-VM : The input object cannot be bound to any parameters for the command either because
the command does not take pipeline input or the input and its properties do not match any of the parameters that take pipeline input.
Any thought ?
