Does this mean that the former IT manager tried to do what I'm currently trying to do but without success (since the C:\ drive still only shows 15 GB of space)?
It definitely sounds like it. He/she probably didn't know about extpart. 
If that's the case, then would I only need to increase the size of the partition using the extpart app you mentioned earlier?
