I'd like to compare with others to get a sense if we should work on our USB speed or if we should just accept what we see.
We are using Tera2 Zero Clients with Vmare View 5.1, Windows 7 VM.
Transfering files from a USB key (pluggled in the zero client) to any destination accssible by the VM yields transfer rates around 1.3 MBs
The 1.3MB is the Windows 7 transfer rate displayed by Windows Explorer when I drag a file to or from a USB key plugged into a Tera2 client.
It seems quite low when compared to 25mbs or 3MBs mentioned on the teradici documentation for Tera2 but I am not sure if those numbers are the final Windows number or just some "calculated" maximums.
Could any of you guys with Tera2 clients and View tell what kind of tranfer rate you get when you copy files from a USB key (in the zero client) to the VM ? (I want the rate displayed by Windows explorer)
I suspect we're not setup right but would like to have real life comparaisons points to start from.
Thanks
(BTW : the network is not the limitation + PCOIP Bandwith limit is unlimited and + EHCI is set to on in the zero).
