Hi KarriC,

 

The kernel panic information should be in /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports (that's not the Library folder inside your home directory, it's the one that is directly inside your Macintosh HD).  If you can't readily find it, try launching Applications > Utilities > Console.app and looking through that.

 

Usually the panic information also is available right after you reboot the host, when Mac OS shows a window telling you that the system restarted due to a problem, and offering to report it to Apple.  If you click the Details button, it generally shows the panic information and you can copy-and-paste it from there.

 

Regarding the update error: A problem developed with our update servers over the weekend.  We're already looking into it and hope to have it resolved soon.  Thanks for letting us know!
