Failed renaming catalog item after copying to another catalog.

I have stumbled upon what appears to be a bug when copying a catalog item.  After copying the catalog item some scripting which uses the query service failed to return a hit on the item name.  From the vCloud Directory gui the name displayed as expected but in the database the catalog item was named with - Copy - UUID .  It seems like the rename of the item after deleting the original did not occur for some reason.  I am suspecting that vCloud director caches the labels of things for sake of speed possibly otherwise I don't know how it could have been displaying a different label than what the catalog items name field contained.  Attached is a screen shot of the vCO inventory showing the incorrectly named item as it is pulling directly from the vCD tables for the catalog items.

After renaming the catalog item again then changing it back to the desired name it seemed like everything sync'd up.  I am curious if this is a known bug and/or if anyone else has seen similar behavior.  I have automation that keys on the name of the catalog items and the processes suddenly started failing after moving some things from a staging catalog into a production catalog.
