Hmm. For some reason I thought this was related to the Thinkpads because I was having that problem on mine. I think the Thinkpad has the same device but I'm not sure. I suppose you could try the driver and if it didn't work you could probably boot in safe mode to uninstall it or use a mouse. Maybe it's worth a try?
