Copy existing Windows Server 2008 image

Hi,

I have copied a VMWare image from a collegue (Windows Server 2008 with SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2008, Active Directory ++).

Now, I remember from doing this in the past, it has caused some issues with IP-addresses, server names etc.

I was just wondering if there's anything I must do to prevent any sort of conflicts occuring? For example, do I need to change the name of the server? The name of the domain (yes, the server is also a domain controller)?

This image is used first and foremost as a development environment by both me and my collegue.

Note: We use Team Foundation Server for source control... The name of the server is part of the Workspace for TFS I guess... This might be another argument/reason for changing the name of the server ... or?

Thanks!
