Regarding vCOPS 5.0 Adv and monitoring less than vCenter

Good day all,
I have implemented vCenter Ops 5.0.03 for a few weeks now. The licensing is only for 150VMs.

vCOPs is monitoring all of DataCenters under this vCenter. The Datacenters total over 170VMs. This vCenter contains a DEV DataCenter.

Question:

Is it possible to scale back on what vCOPS should monitor in this vCenter? We only would like to monitor one particular Backup Datacenter managed by this vCENTER.

Is this possible?
