Hello,
After my upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 went horrible, I decided to just start everything from scratch and follow VMware's recommendations to a T with the latest installer.
Turns out that the 5.1B installer seems to have tons of new issues as well.
When I click the Finish button in the vCenter Single Sign On wizard, I receive Error 20010. Failed to configure LookupService, when the installer status shows its at "Configuring LookupService. It will take a few minutes..." step.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue?
Here are a few other details about my environment:
- My domain name does not contain any hyphens
- None of my user accounts have special characters
- My entire environment is using English so I don't have other language characters
- I have made sure my password doesn't contain any special characters
- I have made sure my passwords don't exceed 32 characters
- I am running the service as an account that is apart of my domain
Again, this is installing the Single-Sign On Service from scratch with the 5.1B installer (not an upgrade).
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
