I am studying for the VCP-5 Exam which I hope to take within the next month. I see that Vmware Data Recovery is no longer used and that vSphere Data Protection is taking it's place. The exam Blueprint still lists Data Recovery and does not mention Data Protection. VMware no longer offers an evaluation copy of Data Recovery, only Data Protection. The study guides that I am using, Brian Atkinson's VCP-5 Study Guide and Scott Lowe's Mastering vSphere 5 only discuss Data Recovery. The VCP-5 Fast Track class I attended only covered Data Recovery. Without a working evaluation it concerns me that VMware will have questions on the exam about a product I have no access to. Dont get me wrong, I have printed out the Data Recovery Administration Guide as well as the Data Protection Administration Guide and will cover each of them, but I am starting to get information contention going on in my brains datastore and need some advice. What should I focus on....a no longer supported or available product that is listed on the blueprint, or the new one that is available and supported but isn't on the Blueprint. Thanks in advance for any advice you may offer.
