Adding Notes Fixpacks/Updates

Hi Peter,  I'm currently working on using ThinApp to deploy Lotus Notes 8.5.3 and would like to distribute future updates to the Notes application (Fixpacks) with the least amount of impact to the end user.

Which method would you suggest to distribute updates to the end users. The smallest update package is prefered and fixpacks can be large in size.

1. MSI to deploy updates- Can be used to replace existing deployments, but full package is required?
2. In-place update
3. AppLink
4. Application Sync
