Hi André,
I couldnt ping the Guests from the Host machine either. I checked the firewalls on both vm players and turned them both off. The result is that I am now able to ping both the guests from the host machine.
I am also able to ping each guest from the other guest respectively.
I can also ping the host machine from the each of the vm players. 
Just have to configure my firewalls now. Thanks for the help
