Nonetheless, your log showed a lot of unusual virtual USB activity. I'm trying to rule out any issues involving the usb arbitrator on the host.

I think what jmattson means is removing the virtual USB Controller from the virtual machine's hardware configuration, to make sure it can't interfere with the WiFi adapter.
