Editing Bridged Connections without Virtual Network Editor

I would like to be able to change the bridged network adaptor without using the Virtual Network Editor, i.e. via a script or using VIX COM.

The only files I have found related to the Virtual Network Editor are the ones located in C:\ProgramData\VMware\, none of which seem to let me specify the actual card to use in the bridge. While these files allow me to specify which virtual network to use, I need to go one step further and change the actual device in the virtual network. So instead of changing between 'vmnet0' or 'vmnet1', I need to change the NIC vmnet0 is using.

I am running VMware Workstation 8.0.4 on Windows 7 64 bit.
