While we are triggering appliance upgrade using vami's update service, its sometimes noticed that VAMI update job fails when it gets
404 error while trying to download the packages.
Reference /opt/vmware/var/log/vami/vami.log:
Setting job error information. jobid=4, errorCode=9, errorString=Error during package download. Please try again.
Even though the package is available , sometimes server returns 404 error code. Retry would fix the issue.
But unfortunately vami's service is not retying.
So I would like to know that incase of 404 error, is there an option for the client to configure the retry logic on VAMI service ?
