Right click the folder and/or file and select the Security tab from the Properties. Depending on the UAC settings it makes a difference whether starting an application with Administrator permissions and/or by right clicking an selecting "Run as Administrator".
Are the other two VM's located in the same base directory? Maybe the VM's vmware.log file contains some useful information!?
I had already checked the Properties > Security settings as I thought to compare them for all of the machines, but they are all the same (for each machine's folder) and all indicate I have full control for the folder, subfolders and files. All of the VMs are in the same dir, each with their own subdir.
The .log file does show the failure but there are many lines of text for same that I cannot decipher. I had hoped to send the file to support @ VMWare but as mentioned in my initial post, I do not seem to have access to same...
